Frequently Asked Questions About Selling Diabetic Supplies

Common Questions About Selling Your Diabetic Supplies

Got questions about selling your extra diabetic test strips, Dexcom sensors, Omnipods, or other supplies to StripsUSA? We’ve got answers. If you don’t see your question below, contact us or call 828-2-STRIPS.

What diabetic supplies does StripsUSA buy?

We buy a wide range of diabetic supplies including diabetic test strips (Accu-Chek, OneTouch, Contour, FreeStyle, and more), Dexcom G7 and G6 sensors, Freestyle Libre sensors, Omnipod 5 and Dash pods, and nicotine gum and patches. Check our pricing page for a full list of what we buy and current prices.

How much will I get paid for my diabetic test strips?

We pay up to $50 per box for diabetic test strips, depending on the brand and expiration date. Prices vary — popular brands like Accu-Chek Guide, OneTouch Verio, and Contour Next typically fetch the highest prices. Check our pricing page to see exactly what we pay for your brand and quantity.

How does the selling process work?

It’s simple and takes just 3 steps. Read our full How It Works guide, but the short version is: (1) browse our prices and add your items to your shipment, (2) choose a free pre-paid shipping kit or printable label, (3) ship your supplies and get paid within 1–2 business days via PayPal, Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, or check.

Do I have to pay for shipping?

No! Shipping is always 100% free. At checkout, you choose either a free pre-paid shipping kit (mailed to your door with boxes and packing materials) or a printable shipping label (emailed instantly). Learn more on our How It Works page.

How fast will I get paid?

Most sellers receive payment within 1–2 business days after we receive and inspect the supplies. We offer payment via PayPal, Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, or business check — your choice.

Do you buy expired diabetic supplies?

Yes! We buy expired Dexcom sensors and many other recently expired diabetic supplies. Expired items are paid at a reduced rate, but you can still get good cash for them instead of throwing them away. Contact us with the expiration date and we’ll give you a quote.

What condition do the supplies need to be in?

Supplies must be sealed and unopened in their original packaging. Boxes should be undamaged — no rips, tears, or water damage. For full price, test strips should have at least 6 months until expiration. We accept supplies with shorter dates or that are recently expired at adjusted prices.

Is it legal to sell my diabetic supplies?

Yes, it is completely legal to sell your personally purchased, unused diabetic supplies. If you received more than you need from your prescription, or your doctor changed your brand, you have every right to sell your extra supplies. However, supplies obtained through Medicare, Medicaid, or other government programs cannot be resold.

Do you buy Dexcom G7 sensors?

Absolutely! We buy Dexcom G7 sensors, Dexcom G6 sensors, and transmitters. We also buy expired Dexcom supplies. Dexcom products are among our most popular items.

Do you buy Freestyle Libre sensors?

Yes! We buy Freestyle Libre 2 and Libre 3 sensors. These are in high demand and we pay competitive prices for them.

Do you buy Omnipod supplies?

Yes, we buy Omnipod 5 pods and Omnipod Dash pods. If you’ve switched insulin pumps or have extra pods, we’ll buy them.

Do I need to sell a minimum quantity?

No strict minimum, but shipping costs mean it generally makes sense to sell at least 2–3 boxes at a time. That said, contact us regardless of quantity — we’ll always give you an honest quote.

Can I sell supplies locally / in person?

If you’re in the Baltimore area or York, Pennsylvania area, we offer local cash options. For everyone else, our nationwide mail-in program with free shipping makes it just as easy. Learn more about selling diabetic supplies near you.

We’re a family-owned business that’s been operating since 2016. We pay some of the highest prices in the industry, offer the fastest payment (1–2 days), and have hundreds of verified customer reviews. We treat every seller like family.
